Wedding day timeline?

Samantha, on June 19, 2020 at 10:36 AM Posted in Planning 0 5
We’re planning our ceremony for about 3:30 or 4 in the afternoon. I have two bridesmaids and myself that are getting our hair and make up done. We are not doing first look photos, I just plan to have photos with my bridesmaids before the ceremony. Can anybody help me with a timeline for when I should have hair and make up done?

You should start by asking your hair and makeup artist(s) how long they will need based on the number of people and the styles being done.

Your hmua will tell you. But we had a 3:00 ceremony with no first look and 3 people getting done. It took 8am-1pm.

I would try to have everyone's make up fully completed by 2 pm. Just tell your MUAs what time you will need it completed and they will be able to tell you when they need to start.

My ceremony is at 11am, so my HMUA is coming at 7am - they setup a 2 hour block for services, so expectation is finished at 9am. If they're done early, even better, but that gives me a scheduled hour between when she should be finished and when I want to get to the venue, which is only 15 minutes from the hotel.
