Do you know how a wedding is supposed to be scheduled? I feel like I have a general idea but at the same time everything is jumbled in my head.
Is this something that’s discussed with the Venue I choose?

Typically the coordinator and photographer will
help you come up with a timeline. Obviously there’s a ton of factors, but a general idea is something like this...

Cocktail hour
Reception begins
Dinner
Speeches
Dances
Tosses

Open dance floor

Isn't she. She is so much fun to watch. If I could afford her, I would hire her to come and coordinate my wedding....or make her a bridesmaid lol.
