Wedding day regrets?

We didn't have many "extras" outside of food and bar upgrades. No videographer, photo booth, favors, signs, menus, etc. I don't regret any of that. My only regret is not making my HMU people test my hair more before I left. Also not stepping out into natural light with my makeup on before leaving. I wish I would have told my MOH or people close to us to keep an eye on how we look. My husbands hair was sticking up in the back. Not terrible but avoidable. I had this stupid bun thing in my ponytail for volume and it started to become visible during my first look. 😡 Again, it didn't ruin anything and it's not the end of the world, but it was avoidable. Don't assume people will notice when things are amiss, everyone is busy!

I regret not spending more time focusing on my other list and leaving some of it up to my photographer. There are photos I didn’t get that I should have. 😢

THIS RIGHT HERE!! I wish I would have had the list of pictures I wanted with me. In the huge rush of things after the ceremony, we got plenty of pictures, but we could have had more. You think you know what you want, and you think you will remember it, but when it comes to the day and people are excited to see and talk to you, things get forgotten.

We chose not to do a grand entrance and I LOVED IT! My husband and I are not generally people who like the spot light, so once we were done with pics, we drifted into the cocktail hour and started catching up with people.

Thats exactly what I am planning for us to do! I would feel so awkward doing a Grand Entrance!
