Wedding Day Lipstick!

Stila Cosmetics Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick.

One night before I washed my face, FH said, "did you just put on lipstick to go to bed?"

Why yes FH, yes I did. Just so I can smear it all over the sheets.

Haha, thats fabuous. Does it dry matte? My makeup artist friend said it photographs better. What shade did you use?

Yes it dries matte. I love red so the color I'm wearing is called Beso (#10). But they have a variety of shades. I purchased mine in Sephora.

Following. Only yesterday I was talking to my MOH about this finding a good lipstick that stays on all day.

I love Stila Stay All Day too! I wore it in Bacca on my wedding day. TBH, I think the liquid lip formulas by Kat von D, Anastasia, and Colour Pop have better staying power than Stila. We actually have a picture of me wiping my lip color off of H right after our first kiss. Oops. I chose Stila because of the color. Kvd and Anastasia didn't have the berry red I was looking for. Colour Pop does, but I discovered them literally 10 days before my wedding and my order didn't arrive in time.

Oh a Berry red is exactly what Im looking for!

I second Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick!!! It is amazing!! You can get it at Ulta and Sephora.

But! Colour Pop Ultra Matte's are my absolute favorite for staying power. They literally do not come off (even with makeup remover I struggle). And at $6 with free shipping you absolutely cannot beat it.

I'm wearing Kat Von D's Lolita for my wedding day. It didn't budge after my trial and I really put it to the test.

These are my fave Colour Pop colors for myself (cool skin tone, very pale like porcelain)

Ultra Matte Lip in Bad Habit (berry red), More Better (cool red with touch of berry)

Ultra Satin Lip in Lyin' King (pinkish red), Naked Ladies (coral red)

I have a lot of Lippies, but I can't remember all of those colors. The Ultra Matte Lip is what you want for staying power anyway.

Can I spin off your question and ask if anyone knows one that stays all day but isn't drying? I am constantly adding lip balm. It's never ending. What would be good for long wear, but still moisturizing?

I second Kat von D's everlasting line. It. Is. Magic.

I don't think there really are any that stay all day without kissing off and without being drying. I found Stila to be the most comfortable on my lips, but it definitely doesn't feel like lip balm, and that one kisses off. Colour Pop Ultra Matte Lip is a little drying, but it doesn't rub off at all. It only comes off of me if I eat something oily. At the end of the day I remove it with coconut oil, and it wipes right off. Any emollients in lip balm would probably break down the color in liquid lipstick like coconut oil does. That is why the formulas themselves aren't moisturizing.

Breezy- you're not going to get "all day" and "not drying" it's a scale

The hydrating- the shorter it'll last. The more long lasting- the more drying.

Lime crime! They have tons of colors and dry matte without being cakey. It's magic I tell ya - passed the kiss test all day, food, drink, etc. and has such rich pigmentation!

I'm not educated on lip products lol. So the more hydrating ones would just need to be reapplied? That's not too bad.

Marc Jacobs! It's pricey, but my HMUA used it on me for my wedding day and it was amazing. Great pigmentation and not drying that I noticed. She touched me up in between the ceremony and reception, but I didn't need anything else beyond that.

What about a stain instead? You can add a balm if needed
