This is a compilation of several articles and lists for Wedding Day Emergency Kits that I have pinned on Pinterest. Since I was making myself a list, thought I would share with you all.

1. Mini sewing kit with scissors, needles, thread, buttons, and safety pins: For those “make it work” moments.

2. Tweezers: From stray hairs to splinters, you never know when you’ll need these nimble helpers.

3. Baby powder: Hot summer days, crowded prep rooms, and nerves can all lead to sweat. A little moisture-absorbing baby powder will help the bride feel fresh as a daisy. It’s also great for keeping beaded bodices from scratching or chafing the bride’s underarms.

4. Extra undergarments and spare pantyhose if wearing: For when baby powder just doesn’t cut it. (See above.)

5. Q-tips & makeup remover: Eyeliner mistakes happen. But they don’t have to stick around.

6. Blotting papers: For absorbing shine and oil, not your fancy makeup.

That is a CRAZY waste of money! I had 2 weddings of my own and have had 4 daughters go down the aisle. Here is what was used:

    sewing kit/safety pins

static guard if it is a dry climate/winter wedding

    Tylenol

That's it. You don't have to provide tampons and pads for someone else, 99% of all that stuff will never be used. Your bridal party are adults who will have what they need. Save your money. I paid for a bunch of that crap for the first DD's wedding only to find out it was just another trap of the wedding industry to get you to spend money.

As far as snacks, bottled water, etc - we were very careful with our logistics that people were fed prior to the wedding and had beverages on hand throughout the day. You don't need all this stuff!

Like I mentioned, I'm hoping to not need any of this stuff. However, I am the type of person that plans for any contingency. I don't intend to go out and buy this stuff. Inalready have it around the house. Most of it is in my travel bag (I keep one packed at all times. It's easier than trying to gather stuff at the last minute.) Since Inwon't be in my own home the night before or morning of my wedding, my list will include things another person's wouldn't.
