Another coronavirus bride over here, our wedding was suppose to be this Saturday and instead of mourning the day that could have been, we want to celebrate it. Any fun ideas on how to celebrate the day together at home? Spam me with your ideas.

I was thinking I can call the bakery tomorrow to see if they are open for to go orders, it’s a little untraditional but thought it would be fun to get the top tier of our cake made. Trying to make lemonade with these lemons I’ve been given

I think that sounds lovely! You could even have a little moment without any screens or distractions to make some kind of quarantine vows.

I love the cake idea if they are open. Maybe get some flowers and make a really special meal, have a glass of champagne together and share just a few cows with each other. It’s so nice to see your positivity during this tough time.

I’m going to be doing the same thing! We are also doing a mini photo shoot with our photographer and I was going to order dinner from the place we had our first date.

Thank you all for you suggestions, we really did make the best of it and had a surprisingly fun day. We wrote a silly/funny version of our vows and said them to each other. We did pick up a small version of our wedding cake and enjoyed it with champagne and some takeout for dinner. Also friends and family sent us texts and videos of them toasting in our honor. It was a great day and I highly recommend doing it and trying to make the best of the day.
