Wedding Day Accessories

Stephanie, on March 2, 2020 at 5:48 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 14

Hi everyone! I just wanted to see where everyone is getting their wedding accessories, such as earring, necklaces, bracelets, garters, etc. I want them to look nice but I really don't want to spend a fortune on jewelry that I will most likely never wear again. Thanks!

I think etsy, ebay, Walmart or Amazon would be pretty cheap. I'm getting all my jewelry from a friend who does paparazzi jewelry parties. The jewelry from paparazzi is just $5 and it's beautiful. Wedding Day Accessories 5

I’m looking on Etsy for a necklace and earrings. Also not planning to spend a fortune. I’m looking at crystal and pearl rose gold jewelry, trying to find a dainty choker necklace and a pair of long drop earrings.

Have you heard of Happily Ever Borrowed? A lot of the things I was looking for I wouldn't be able to wear again so borrowing these items is ideal for me Smiley smile

I got my headband from Kohls and they usually have the jewelry too so I think I am going to go back there since I don't want to spend a lot on it since I am not a jewelry person besides my ring. I am not sure what I want yet though

Sears, Boscov's, TJ Maxx, Marshalls and honest to God.... sometimes Walmart has some really decent pieces.

I would absolutely not buy jewelry you cannot re-wear. The only "accessory" exceptions I see are a veil and/or hairpiece, and you can get those pretty inexpensively off of Amazon or Etsy. Etsy has a ton of great costume jewelry options that are bridal but also could be re-worn for other occasions.

I'm planning on only wearing my e-ring, wedding band, and then a small hair accessory (likely a veil for the ceremony and some decorative clips/combs for the entire night). I liked the idea of a hair piece because when else do you ever get to wear one? I considered wearing clip-on earrings (my ears aren't pierced) but opted not to. The maker of my wedding dress has a "real brides" section on their website so I looked at photos of other brides in my same dress and how they accessorized and I decided I didn't want a necklace or bracelet with my dress.

I will not be wearing a garter and will be wearing plain nude heeled sandals. If you want to dress up your footwear but not spend a lot on expensive fancy shoes you'll only wear once you can look at "shoe clips" on Etsy to dazzle up a pair of shoes you already own or a new pair that you might want to wear again, but with less bling.
