Tayla, on October 18, 2019 at 10:51 AM Posted in Planning 0 9
So I’m getting married in 5 months && I’m actually really excited and happy but a little nervous.. in December it will be a year we have been engaged and I’m now to the point can we hurry these things up lol I’m ready to marry my best friend I can’t be the only one who feels that way right?! Anyone else getting married that day? Is there anything besides the big stuff I need to be doing? I’ve already sent out the save the dates in July.. I’ve got my official invites here at the house just waiting to send them.. in December. Am I missing something?! Also what is your something borrow, something old, something blue and something new? I haven’t quite figured it out yet lol

If I were you I would wait until at least early January to send your invitations... you've got plenty of time, and I would worry they would get lost in the chaos of Christmas mail if you sent them in December!

I thought that too but my wedding planner told me to send them before out before the chaos in December like the first week because I have to have my final number by the 3rd of February so they will have a little over a month to RSVP.

Oh wow that’s super early to need your headcount! In that case that makes sense then 😁

Yes! My venue is all inclusive and our last meeting with them is on the 8th they need a final count then plus that’s less stress for me to worry about it the month before my wedding

My date is 3.20.20 almost the same date!! I'm planning on sending invites in November - a little early but they won't get lost with the holiday mail! I hear ya - I'm ready to get married! We've been engaged well over a year; we got engaged 6/2018.

Most of the big stuff is done - we're figuring out groomsmen attire next week!!

Do you think I should do the need over November or no?

It depends if you're concerned about your invites getting lost in the holiday mail... That was our concern
