So I have now been engaged for over three years. Me and my fiance have been through some challenging times. I almost gave up and threw in the towel but God has brought us so far. We have lost a lot of family members, jobs, you name it. I was just going to go to the courthouse because of stress and anxiety, but today I stand and we are going to have a small backyard wedding. I want to walk down to my King.

Congratulations. Sometimes we have to remember, even though things seem difficult and the easy thing to do is give in, but God (or your higher power) gives us life lessons to remind us not to take things for granted. Things don't get easier as we get married, we are always learning and growing from challenging times.
I'm happy you didn't give up, you deserve much love and happiness. Your day will be magical!
