Wedding date and time?

Sherri, on October 5, 2019 at 8:36 AM Posted in Planning 0 10

I am having my halloween-themed wedding next year, Saturday, on 10/31/20. I need help with what time to have it. I want to have it on this day, but I know kids go treat or treating at night. So if I make the wedding at noon, how do I have one without being dark outside?

I don’t think I understand what you’re asking. If you have it at noon, it isn’t dark out?

Will it still feel like Halloween? BC u normally think of nightime when its Halloween. How would I make it feel like Halloween if it's during the day, like how would I decorate? How would u have a daytime Halloween wedding, decorations, etc to make it feel like the holiday?

Maybe you could have the wedding at night and let the kids dress up in their Halloween costumes?! Then after the wedding you could hand out bags of candy to them! I think it would be adorable having kids in costumes at a wedding!

I figure a lot of kids want to do the traditional treat or treating, house to house.

If you do it at noon you can end it by dinner time. Usually receptions last around four hours so I could see it ending by 5p or you could even do a shorter reception

Is it an indoor venue? If so is there any way to cover the windows to make it feel like nighttime? Then you could do candles, and the Halloween decor would fit in.

The ceremony is outside and the reception is inside. I guess I can cover the windows, but not sure with what BC venue has rules
