Wedding Cupcakes

We’re doing cupcakes and a small cake for us to cut (I have a teired cupcake stand to hold some of the cupcakes with the cutting cake on top).

Our package includes one cup cake per guests. I’m hoping that’s enough if we have some extra room in the budget we may add a second dessert but that’s looking unlikely at the moment.

I would probably just do 1 each but then also have a dessert table with cookies, brownies, fresh fruit that sort of stuff.

I did not have cupcakes but instead we did 5 smaller cakes. None of them are tiered, we have 4 two-layer cakes and 1 three-layer cake which we will be cutting. We also are doing a few trays of brownies and 5 dozen cookies. This way, we have a good variety of options and flavors to choose from so hopefully there will be something that everyone will like. If you want to do cupcakes maybe you can do a small 2 or 3 layer cake to cut with your fiance. I have seen some couples have a cake just for them/bridal party that they can cut and then a dessert tables/cupcakes whatever for the rest of the guests.

We are doing a small 1 tier cutting cake for pictures. We are estimating around 175 guests, so we are buying 1.5 cupcakes per person. In addition, we will have candy & cookies & a few cake pops available.

We're doing cupcakes, and also getting a small 6" round cake for us to cut. I also saw 1.5 cupcakes per person, and my baker indicated that it seemed like a good estimate to go with.

I'm planning on about 150 guests. I'm doing a small wedding cake to cut (feeds about 50), a small grooms cake (will be about the same size), 150-180 cupcakes (still deciding) and a few cookie trays.

I don't want left with a lot of cake so I'm doing those small. People are able to take cupcakes as they leave as well so hopefully I won't be left with any of those as well.

We are doing Cupcakes. We are having about 125 guest. We are also having 2 different flavors of cupcakes. So we are expecting people to have more then 1 Cupcake since there are two different flavors l. We ordered 6 dozen on 1 flavor and 6 dozen of the other flavor. But normal they say 1 cup cake per person.

For my wedding, we’re doing a dessert table. My wedding coordinator recommended 1 cupcake per guest vs 2 mini cupcakes per guest.

We’re also mixing it up with some muffins, donuts, and cookies mixed in . So if you like desserts, there’s definitely more options to give your guests (and also a bit cheaper).

Thank you so much everyone! After MUCH deliberation we are doing a 4 tiered cake that serves about 100 and then about 100 cupcakes since our guest total went way up!
