Wedding Cupcakes

I think the easiest way may be to do blue icing for all of the cupcakes (maybe do a light and dark blue icing in the same back so it makes a swirled effect) and then some nautical cupcake toppers (edible or non edible) like buoys, anchors, sailor hats, whatever you're going for!

I googled nautical cupcakes and these were basically exactly what I was picturing in my head lol

Yes I love the swirling! We were going to have some oars made of chocolate or sugar (the ice looking kind) and have that on our cake with the cupcakes as the water under the boat if that makes sense. I just haven't found anything matching what I'm thinking in my mind! Except for the cupcakes as sand from the beach!

Peacock Cake with Tailfeather Cupcakes

We are actually planning on doing something similar. We're going to do a cupcake tower with a small cake to cut on top, with the bottom tiers mixed with cupcakes, tiny key lime pies and chocolate covered strawberries. We're going to have the icing on the cupcakes blue with shark fins sticking out of them. The top cake layer is somehow going to be tied in with either something else oceany or beachy. There's actually a lot of ideas on Pinterest if you haven't looked yet!

I have been scouring pinterest lol! And our top cake is going to be blue velvet cake and decorated somehow oceany or at least water/nautical themed. I think I may go with cupcakes topped with chocolate or sugar oars! Your key lime pies and chocolate covered strawberries sounds like heaven

I love the little boats filled with cupcakes! If I can find some I may go with those to display them!
