Wedding Coordinator Help!!

Oh wow! My venue is providing a day of coordinator for free.

My venue provides one and it is included in the cost of the package. That's a lot for a day of!

When I was looking for a DOC this was about the going rate for a 250-300 person wedding. I ended up not getting one because my church would not work with a coordinator, they provided their own and my banquet hall manager coordinated their own set up and my florist took care of the decor, tear down was minimal.

Our coordinator is $1,200 for a wedding estimate of 150 guests. I believe we had to add additional cost for guests over 200.

My venue didn't come with a day of coordinatator and didn't have one for hire either. The quotes I sourced were around $1,500, so your venue's price point isn't so out of line (our wedding size was 175). Fortunately, I hired a day of coordinatator who I met at a wedding expo that offered a discounted rate of $1,000.

Sounds about right. My venue comes with a DOC but I hired my own. I didn't want someone that works for the venue. I wanted someone that works for me
