Wedding Colors

I’m wanting a fall wedding (we don’t have a date yet) and I really like the colors sage and ivory. I’m wondering if those are good fall colors?

Those are beautiful! I think they’re somewhat timeless, and I wouldn’t worry too much about if it’s fall or not, technically my colors aren’t very summery 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think it will be beautiful. I’m one who likes to think you can use whatever colors anytime you want. I didn’t know what our date was going to be from the beginning, I was open to different seasons but I always knew I was sticking to the same colors!

We love fall too - it's our favorite season. My fiancé and I are having ours in November 202 at a venue that over looks the water and want to incorporate the beach but also fall, mostly with beach colors and style while incorporating fall aspects such as pumpkins. I love fall colors but wouldn't want the yellows and oranges in the wedding unless it was all fall. It's a little unorthodox but the more research I do, the more ideas I get and become confident in our choice. I say, it's your (and your fiancé's) day! Do whatever makes y'all happy even if it isn't the "normal" for that time period. (Kind of like the concept of Christmas in July) If you do more research your ideas will come flowing - get creative!

Those are GREAT! Add in some small pops if burgundy, mustard-gold and or navy and it can add a little more depth/warmth.
The sage and ivory would also be Stunning with hints of metallic silver or gold.

We are using sage, ivory, burgundy, and dusty rose. Our wedding is in November (fall).

I feel like sage is one of those colors you can use in almost all the seasons, I plan on using it in my June wedding (along with navy and blush) I think Sage and Ivory would look really pretty for a fall wedding!

I think ivory and sage will be beautiful! I might suggest adding a jewel-tone accent color and setting your venue first before you finalize.

Our date is in October and we really didn’t want to do orangey fall colors, since our venue is very PNW forest (i.e. lush greens with some fall color). We looked at lots of palette options that were shades of greens and will be doing that with accents of ivory/champagne, dusty purple, and burgundy. We will be doing greenery and live plants for decoration.

That sounds beautiful! Our colors for our October wedding are plum, burnt orange, and forest green. We have accents of ivory and gold too in our bouquets, cake, and other decor.

I think those are great colors! As PP have said it doesn't really matter what colors are used in what season as long as youre happy! My wedding is the end of Septmeber and our colors are emerald green, silver, and white so those don't fit into your typical fall colors.

One of my family friends got married last fall and the colors were sage and another muted but darker green (don’t know the name of it). The bridesmaids had greenery and baby’s breath bouquets and the bride had white roses, succulents, and greenery. It was really pretty!!

Those are gorgeous fall colors and compliment each other very well. Those colors won’t become dated either!
