Wedding colors

My fiance and I decided on plum, navy blue and ivory for our wedding colors. The guys will have navy suits. I made a "suit" on a website with the plum as the groomsmen's ties. I think it looks AWFUL! If the guys just wear navy on navy and the ladies wear plum, will that make it look too separated?

    No, it will look fine. If you still want to try to incorporate plum into the men's attire, you could consider a pocket square instead.

    We used flowers to tie everything together — I’d suggest adding some plum to the groomsmen’s boutonnieres and pops of navy/blue in the bridesmaids’ bouquets to make it all cohesive

    My fiancé is wearing a completely different color to everyone else. His suit will be burgundy/maroon. The groomsmen in tan suits and the girls in terracotta colored dresses. But all the guys will have deep orange colored flowers to tie it all together

    I attended a wedding with this exact color scheme. Bridesmaid dresses were plum. Groom and groomsmen suits for navy. Their ties were navy. Their boutonnières had plum colored flowers plus greenery and other flowers. It looks gorgeous and not separate at all.
