Wedding Colors

Hi Ladies,

I’m getting married on New Years Eve -2019. No wedding party, only our 5 young adult children will be a part of the ceremony. We’re inviting around 60 guests.

The colors I’ve chosen for now are ..champagne, ivory, and burgundy. Kicker is, I don’t love the color burgundy, or much color at all..I’m an earth tones kind of girl.

Any thoughts? Should our 3 daughters where the same color/style dress? Pls help! Thanking you in advance.

I almost wish I was having a winter wedding lol, I love earthy/jewel tones. If burgundy isn't your thing but you still want that sort of color, maybe something a little more pink like mulberry or maroon?

If you want to go totally opposite, I think a deep emerald green would go great with champagne and ivory!

As for your daughters' dresses, if they're in the wedding party I'd have them wear the same color and let them pick the style dress they like (you can choose long or short for them and let them go from there) Smiley smile

You deserve to have the colors you love! Emerald green is a great suggestion, as well as teal. I'm a big fan of choosing a color and letting the bridesmaids (in this case your daughters!) pick their own dress in that color. I found these color examples on Pinterest for you!

Thank you so much Cher! Yes, the teal would work too. I agree with the idea of having my daughters choose a dress in the color they like, awesome!

I must agree my vote is emerald. LOVE those color pallates, I see them a lot on Pintrest. Very inspirational. Smiley smile I also have seen the idea floating around - Go to your local Home Depot or Lowes and look at paint swatches. It gives you so many options, and they're free to take home Smiley heart

No. His daughter decided to wear black sonce she's standing with the men. She's going to add rose gold jewelry & carry burgundy flowers.
