Hey ladies!!!
So let’s talk 🤍 what are your wedding colors & the theme/ vibe you’re going for? Also does your wedding date have anything to do with it?

My wedding is October 02, 2022 & the aesthetic I’m going for is Modern Rustic Elegance. My colors are gold & bronze with touches of black, wood, acrylic & lots of greenery!!! Also sticking to white & neutral flowers. I knew I didn’t want regular fall colors but that’s not who we are as a couple so had to give it an elegant twist.
Also SN: just got the bridesmaid & maid of honor dresses & I’m obsessed with how the colors look together!!! Bridesmaids are doing gold & the maid of honor/ matron of honor are doing a bronze color. The men will be in black tux’s & white shirts for the classic look. Still debating on gold bow ties or black ones let me know what you think 🤗

We had a spring wedding so i for sure wanted lighter pastel colors - we went with mint and light pink

Our colors are mostly blues and greens with pops of yellow. Almost everything I own is blue and FH’s favorite color is yellow so it just made sense. It’s a spring wedding so originally I was trying to find light pinks and purples as the colors but I don’t actually like those colors so switched ideas 😂

For your groomsmen, a gold bow tie could be a nice little pop of color on an otherwise black tux outfit 😀 but you also can’t go wrong with a classic black bow tie.

My wedding colors are burgundy, dark blue (not really navy lol), dusty pink and then gold and cream accents. Our wedding is in January so I was excited to lean into darker colors, plus our venue is a rustic barn so lots of wood.

Ours are deep teal, mulberry, and silver. Jewel tones (especially teal) are my favorite, and I love bold pops of color any place I can get them!

Black, mixed metallics, and dark jewel tones. No white anywhere! White weddings are gorgeous but not for me.

Our wedding was October 1st, but we went with blues for the bridesmaids and gray for the groomsmen. My flowers were in-season wild flowers, and we got married on a farm. Our centerpieces were pumpkins we grew ourselves with a little bit of greenery. I was going for a more rustic, cozy Fall, maybe a bit of Cottagecore kind of feel, but was adamant on not having a particular "theme" that would distract from, simply, a wedding in October.

Wedding is October 9th this year! Colors are burnt orange and burgundy. Lots of greenery as well! Ceremony outside in the woods and reception in a barn. Going for a sort of rustic forest vibe. We’re going to have some white ceramic pumpkins as a part of our center pieces. My fiancé will be wearing a burgundy suit with bridesmaids in a terracotta color

Spring wedding here - my girls are wearing a variety of dusty roses and mauves. Flowers will be in that color palate as well. The men are wearing dark navy suits and their ties match the girl's dresses. We're getting married in a barn but I didn't want rustic. More vintage-y vibes with old bud vases, lace, vintage rose gold candle holders and a few more items I bought at flea markets and such. I will be using my grandma's old watering cans to hold flower arrangements. There will be lots of string lights hanging in the barn.

I would like a fairytale theme. Our colors are regency purple. Hunter/ dark green. The men will be wearing cement gray suits. With green or purple ties pocket square. Ladies will alternate between purple and green. Flowers mainly white with pops of purple. Accents for reception tables silver. Pics posted around ceremony and reception black and white. I got it all figured out. I'm not getting married till 2025. And my dress white all satin/ chiffon and dramatic. I just can't wait.

Sounds beautiful and elegant. With a classic black tux, I would go black bow tie as gold sometimes gets washed out in a group photo. You can add gold accents on the floral boutonniere (ribbon, leaves) or with pocket square. The groom could wear a different bowtie, maybe gold or gold pattern. I would just make sure the gold contrasts the skin tone so he doesn't look washed out from afar.

Our wedding was n the spring time and elegant. Our color was mint green. Bridesmaid were in mint green dress and the groomsmen wore black tux with mint green ties and vests.

I love how you didn’t go with colors just cause it fit the theme! You can always make other colors work for example your favorite colors which is more personable to y’all. That sounds beautiful those colors compliment each other well! 😍

Thanks for the suggestion 😊 I was thinking that but then also I thought about if the gold might get washed out in pictures. I definitely love contrast which is why I’m incorporating black into the color scheme.

I get what you mean our venue is a brick building downtown overlooking the water with the city skyline so that’s why it’s the “theme” I’m going for but my favorite part is that it’s in October we plan on doing golden hour pictures. Definitely a fall wedding! I love those colors together it just didn’t represent my fiancé & I but I do love how it looks! That’s gonna be so dreamy 😍 I love how he’s doing that color for that pop & that the girls have terracotta which is such a gorgeous color!! So how are you doing the groomsmen? That’s what I’m stuck on choosing which tie for them to wear.
