Wedding ceremony around a pool??

Hi everyone! This is my first post and I’m really excited to start the planning process. My fiancé and I are on a very small budget ($5000) and are hoping to have the wedding at his parents house in their backyard. The problem is, they recently put a pool in and I’m having trouble figuring out where people would stand/sit during the ceremony. Does anyone have experience with this or any ideas? I think it could be pretty to incorporate the pool (with floating candles or something) but would it be ridiculous to have everyone stand during the ceremony around the pool? Or maybe I should try to figure out some kind of plexi glass cover? Pics attached for reference. Heeeeelp!

I've seen pools where there's a walkway in the pool and that is in effect the aisle, so the guests would be around it

The one and only wedding we went to around a pool the bride and groom stood on the far side of the pool and the chairs were set up across the pool from them. They used floating candles - but the currents from the skimmers, etc. pulled them all to one side of the pool, so it didn't have quite the effect they wanted (to be fair though, it was at an apartment complex, so the couple couldn't turn the cleaning system off). It would have been really cool if the candles hadn't all gone to one side though.
FWIW, we were making bets on which drunk person would end up in the pool first. (No one ended up jumping or falling in though.)

Lol! That’s a good point too though. Plus we will have kids there so it might be good to just cover the pool..

I had an idea while looking at the photos! Could you cover up the raised part of the pool where the steps are (assuming this is a hot tub?!), and have you and your FH stand there and get married. You could then have chairs all around the edge of the pool, or have guests standing. Do you think this could work?
How many guests will be attending the wedding?

We're hoping to keep it at 60 or less guests. I think your idea might work actually! I'm going to the house in the next few weeks or so to check things out and see if it's doable. I really don't want to spend a bunch on a venue so hopefully we can do it there. Thank you so much
