Wedding Cake

We have a marble theme happening. I like these but I'm really hoping we can create something that's not a fondant cake. Obviously it doesn't have to be exact lol.

I just went to a cake tasting today and they had this in the middle of the room 🤩 I wonder how people would cut into that cake though

Here’s my actual cake

This was our cake.

Since we’re getting married in the morning with a brunch reception, we decided on a crepe cake. I did a trial run for my birthday and it turned out amazing. I don’t have a picture on my phone, but here’s one of my inspiration pictures- tiramisu flavor mmm.

My FH also doesn’t like cake, and particularly hates overly sweet frosting and fondant. If we weren’t doing brunch I’d make him cookies, but with waffles and crepes I think we’ll be good on sweets.

My sister has graciously offered to make our wedding cake so I chose something simple. The guest will get sheet cake in the same flavors but with a regular amount of icing because let’s face it that’s the best part lol

And our custom cake topper (inside “joke” to us)

Here are our cakes. 3 tier was vanilla & vanilla filling, white choc & choc filling, pink champagne & salted caramel filling. 2 tier was choc & cookies n cream filling, choc & choc ganache, and an Oreo crumble on top.

I don't know how realistic it's going to be, but I love this style.

I'm fond of simple but pretty, this is what I gave our baker along with these two flowers.

I saw a nice cake on yelp near me and made the order yesterday. 3 tiered cake, and the top cake would have golden roses drawn on it instead of those abstract golden frosting. Red roses instead of orange as decoration.
