I'm guessing they can just cut the stems off and place them on there..? This is the exact cake I'm getting, but of course with the red roses

Beautiful cake!! We will have flowers on our cake but we haven't talked to our florist to see if any garland will be placed. Since our cake will already be dark, I doubt it but we'll see.
