I would think that if it was offered or served that people would gobble it up. We're only offering Cake, I thought it would be a problem if everyone wanted to eat X, Y, Z desserts and filled up on them instead of the cake.

For me, it depends on the flavor of the cake if I'll eat any at all. I'm not too big of a cake eater to begin with but I can eat other desserts all day!

As a guest, I’d love wedding cake!!! Cake pops or cupcakes are ok too. I’d just be disappointed in cookies, brownies or other “anytime” desserts.

Our venue included 3 dessert shots per person so we did a small cake for cutting & serving.

We had two flavors of cake and two flavors of ice cream. The ice cream was demolished. We had some leftover cake but all of it was eaten by my family the following week.

My fiancé and I aren't really cake people, so I thought it would be fun to do a pie for us and then a few kinds of miniature desserts for all of our guests. I was thinking mini fruit tarts and pies, macrons, and cake bites in a few flavors.

For us, FH and I don't really eat cake. I don't at all and FH is specific flavors.

We only had cake. We did typical flavors. All wedding cake with vanilla, chocolate, or raspberry filling, and strawberry short cake. We had a lot more cake than was needed. We took home a lot, but much less than I thought. our guests definitely ate cake! I didn’t even get to try the chocolate filling and that’s what I wanted.

I will eat cake if it’s simple and there is not fruit in it. If there’s fruit I’ll probably taste a bit of icing and that’s it. We are doing cake, ice cream sundaes and pastries, as all of that is included in our package. But I love dessert and am quite happy with the options. If cake is your only option you are fine. If you want something else instead of cake, you should be fine as long as there is some type of dessert option.

We are having a wedding cake and an ice cream Sunday bar where they mix in your toppings at Cold Stone! My FW loves cake and ice cream plus the ice cream is a nod to her Dad who passed. (They ate ice cream together all the time when she was growing up) Our cake tasting is June 6!

I am also not a big cake person but if offered, I would it eat, specially if it's a flavor I like.
