Wedding cake substitutes???

Cheyenne, on June 30, 2021 at 3:00 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 14
My fiance and I both arent big on sweets and dont really wanna do a cake. Is there a substitute besides donuts, bunt cake, pancakes or, macaroons?

You can do any kind of dessert or candy you want - tiramisu, candy bar, caramels, truffles, churros, coffee cake, pie, etc.

We had individual strawberry rhubarb trifles and chocolate pots de cremes.

I was going to say mini pies or fruit tarts. You could do an entire display of small desserts to give your guests a variety.

You can do min desserts of all kinds. My daughter is actually bringing in this cute ice cream truck from a local creamery farm.

My fiance and I are doing tiramisu instead of cake! You could do cheesecake, ice cream, chocolate covered fruit (strawberries, bananas, cherries, etc), pie, candy, etc.

Pies, ice cream truck, and snow cones sound fun. Or you could do a dessert cocktail?

Any dessert you like is fine! We did a berry shortcake bar for our dessert— a few berry options, fresh biscuits, and fresh whipped cream. It was a big hit. We didn’t care to do a “cutting” but if we had wanted that photo op, we would’ve just had the caterer pre-assemble one for us to “cut” into Smiley smile

We had mini desserts—chocolate covered strawberries, mini key lime pies, a variety of shooters. Neither of us have big sweet teeth, but our guests apparently loved what we had because our dessert table was devoured!

There was a couple on Four Weddings that cut a pizza and then gave out pizzas as a late night snack to guests.

We're doing high end cookies. They're about the size of a hockey puck and the company builds them into a tower.

We'll have chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, which chocolate macadamia, and raspberry lemonade flavors.

Pies, ice cream, cotton candy, and other things are all also great options!
