Oh my God red velvet sounds absolutely amazing

Yum! My FH loves funfetti, so if we had decided to do cake that would have been one tier.

My FH loves strawberries so we have the top tier inside filled with strawberries 🍓

I love red velvet. My FH is such a bore when it comes to flavors. We're having a winter wedding as well BUT because he's so picky, we'll probably end up with a marble cake lol. There was a strawberry one we tried and loved! It was awhile back in a different state so we're not expecting it to taste the same. I guess we'll find out once we do our cake testing.

I think carrot cake works for cold weather because it's spiced. Red velvet would be my other suggestion. I also love chocolate and raspberry at any time of the year.

Red velvet is wonderful any time of the year. Winter usually means heavier flavors like chocolate or carrot, etc. But any flavor will work. Talk to your baker to see what your options are. What do your guests like?

What if you did a chocolate cake with a salted Carmel filling they also have blue velvet

We love red velvet too but requested a blue velvet cake because of the color matching our theme and because David Lynch 🤷‍♀️😂
