Wedding cake budget

Ours is $900.

The cake i plan on getting is going to be $260 for about 76 people and my maid of honor and i are going to make about 100 cupcakes. my grandmother also offered to make sock-it-to-me cake and a german chocolate for the grooms cake. so i think in total, at max, will be $400 for all the cakes/cupcakes.

Just booked my cake this week. We’re doing a larger two-tier that feeds up to 100 and 84 center-filled mini cupcakes for $500 + change. Pretty good for Chicago considering the rest I saw were $6-8 per slice


For the cake we’re doing red velvet with Oreo mouse for the bottom layer, and vanilla with peach purée and salted buttercream for the top. Cupcakes are peanut butter filled chocolate, raspberries and cream, and creme brûlée 🤤 Dessert is a big deal in my family

$600 max we have approx 70 guests

I had a 4 tier wedding cake with buttercream icing and fresh flowers/greenery and about 105 guest and the cake only costed $350.00

We are doing a 2 tier cake with 100 mini cupcakes for $600. It seems expensive, but was cheaper than some other options.

We are doing a 4 tier and an entire sweet table including cupcakes, cheesecake pops, cake pops, cookies and rice crispy treats for 450.

But with our dark Rose's and a king protea

I am doing my own cake and desert bar so it will likely cost me around $100 for all the ingredients. If you can afford it go for it!
