Just curious to know what everyone's wedding budget is? Are you DIYing it or hiring others for everything? What area are you in, I know some areas are more costly than others. ******************************************************************* EDITED TO ADD*****************Please keep this friendly!...

$45k for 120 guests in Syracuse, NY. Very little DIY at all, maybe just a couple personal touches or things to add in.

Our original budget was $30k, I think we'll come in around $45k when all is said and done. 75 guests, NYC.

Our initial budget was $5K but now it's doubled to $10K. It may be less depending on the number of guests. This is in Florida. This is for 60 guests. If we max out our venue capacity (88 guests), we may end up spending $12k. This includes everything including attire and wedding license.

I'd like to note that the $5K figure was based on what my friend told me her budget had been I asked because she had a decent wedding with 65 guests at a hotel but without an open bar like we're having (alcohol is important to me). As I started asking her how much she paid for hair/makeup, photographer, DJ, officiant, I found out many had been gifted to her or were friendors. So she had not included those in her wedding cost! Her mom also bought her wedding dress/undergarments and I bought her jewelry so that was a big wake up call as far as how unrealistic a $5K wedding is for that many people with an open bar.

My advice is take how much people close to you say they spent with a grain of salt! Many downplay the true cost to make it sound like you're overspending but when you start asking for details, you find out they didn't include a lot of items in the "cost" they tout around.

For my Disney wedding it's going to be about $45K for about 100 guests. But we hear there are going to be a lot of declines so it might be cheaper. I'm hiring pros for everything because I don't have time to DIY things for a destination wedding.

Buffalo NY, $8,000 for 60 people (no honeymoon). I DIY a small amount of décor, had professional floral centerpieces and pro everything else. We stuck to it pretty well, Inclusive venue was just under $100 per person-full top shelf bar with filet and shrimp plated dinner.

Wedding taking place outside of Richmond, VA with budget of $25,000 for (hopefully) under 100 people. Planning to do a little DIY, but I'm still in the beginning phases of planning.

We are budgeted around 3k which I'm focusing on 2500 in MI. I'm doing a lot of diy and I have a good support team thats helping me out a lot. And our parents are helping us with deposits and we are paying the remaining balance and everything else. Thank God for them. But this is what fits us. Best of luck.

We are looking at about $10k for 150 guests in Kansas City then holding a second "cake and punch" reception in DC (where we live) with about 80 guests for $1k. Numbers don't include honeymoon or rings. We'll likely be too poor for an immediate honeymoon haha and it's looking like my matching ring for my e-ring may be an anniversary gift down the road and do something simple for now
