Wedding bells decoration

Michelle, on July 14, 2019 at 12:48 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 13
So I’m at work today and a lady asked me if I have everything ready for the big day. I said yes we can’t wait for August 10th to get here

Then she asked do you have your wedding bells all ready ??? I said wedding bells she goes yes so your guest can ring the bell each time they want to see you kiss. I said no I haven’t thought about that one..

anyone else doing wedding bells on the tables?

I plan to have one on the sweetheart table. My family typically taps glasses for kisses all night but we're not having real glass. I think it'll be funny to have the one however because if we get annoyed we can take it away lol.

We have one bell that says "Ring For A Kiss" but we will put it out probably near the cake or gift table, I'm not sure yet!

I like the less expensive version of this i.e fork smacking the glass for a kiss! Cheap and inexpensive!

No! I can't imagine anything more annoying! Especially as we invited children 🤣

No no no no. This would be so obnoxious I feel like. Especially if it was every few minutes.

We had one that was on the sweetheart table. It was great for the photos and kinda cute but only one person came and rang it. People will tap their glass. No need to worry about having a bell.

Wedding bells? I've never heard of such a thing! What happened to the classic fork/knife on the glass?

Hell no! That's annoying and if anyone decides to try to clank their glasses either we aren't doing it. This is definitely a way older tradition, nobody does it anymore these days at least to all the more recent friend weddings I have been to.

Yes! My grandmother had a bell collection and she passed away a few years ago. I choose one bell for each table from her collection. It is a special, sentimental part of my reception. I had no idea this was a "tradition".
