Did you surprise your SO with their wedding band or did they pick them out? I'm having the hardest time figuring out what I want to do. I sent a photo to my FH and asked him to pick out rings he liked. We have talked about colors so I stuck with ones I knew he would like. He narrowed it down to 2, thing is I like them both! I did find another one on a different site that I can actually have engaged and it's quite a bit cheaper.
For those of you that did engrave what did you put? I'm really leaning on "My significant otter" with our wedding date 04/04/20 or I love you forever and always (depending on how many characters can be used)

We went together to pick out wedding bands. I loved having this experience with him. And thank goodness we did. Because I had completely forgotten about work safety. He went with tungsten so it’ll shatter. We both will have to get them resized.

I didn't know tungsten could be resized! Good to know though, it's ok!!! I redid all of my flower beds a few weeks ago. We just bought our first house in July and between pulling up shrubs and replanting stuff my hands we like permanently dirty looking. They were clean just I had done so much I guess they stained. I told him I wanted to go look at rings but I'm not sure when we will go. I've found one I really like so would like to go look at it in person.

My SO is choosing his - he is very picky and what I liked he wasn't that excited about lol

Me too!! They had a matching band at the place he got my e-ring, but I was looking for it online the other day and it is out of stock. The place I found this ring at is the same place that did my ring sizing. It is a local well trusted jewelry store and would much rather find something there. The customer service is phenomenal and they had my ring back withing a day after resizing.

My H got a tattoo wedding band two days before our elopement. I didn't see what it was until the day of when I unwrapped his ring finger as part of our ring exchange ceremony.

For mine, he told me to pick something out that I would love and after trying on a few in store I had a good idea of what I wanted and decided to go with GoldenBirdJewellery on Etsy.

I’d be scared to pick out my FH’s wedding band, he’s not a jewelry person so he didn’t know what he liked but he knows what he doesn’t like. I think it was important to pick it out with him to ensure he got something he wanted to wear.

Ohhhh pretty!!!!!! My FH is terribly afraid of needles so a tattoo is out, but I've always thought those were cool! I've shown him a few pictures of bands that I like that are super inexpensive.

All he keeps saying is just pick something out, I'm sure I'll like it. Ummm no buddy your not setting me up for that. If you can't show me or send me a picture of something you like I'm not just picking out anything.

That’s really smart, he’s going to be wearing it forever. If he can at least guide you that’s one thing, but my FH cannot so we’ll just pick out the ring together.

FH picked his ring out as one of the first things he did after we got engaged. I think he was a little excited
He picked this out after I told him it couldn't be a huge signet ring and it had to be a BAND shape to be apparent to other people it was a wedding ring.

We actually spur of the moment eloped on 2/16/18 and then went to the jewelers to get wedding bands. I had been looking for ideas online for which ones I was interested in while we were planning our big Vegas wedding and when we went into the shop after the courthouse I saw them and didn't like them in person and ended up going with one I didn't like online lol. DH saw ones with wooden inlay and really loved them so he went with one of those.

Tunsgten cannot actually be resized. Hopefully the person who bought the tungsten ring can exchange it for the right size. We bought tungsten rings for our Vegas vows and the company said they have a great exchange policy mostly due to the inability to resize tungsten. If they try to cut it it will break.
