Wedding bands too tight with engagement ring??

Hey guys!!

SO, we went yesterday to pick out our wedding bands (EXCITING!!!) and inside the jeweler was super warm so the combination of that and me trying on rings made my finger VERY swollen and it still is. The jeweler told me to take the wedding bands home and when the swelling goes down to try them on again and they can resize if necessary. My engagement ring fits me perfectly..little loose in the colder months, a little tight in the summer but just right. The wedding bands are a tiny bit larger in size, but with them both on, (i got 2) it’s hard to get my engagement ring on. I’m thinking I should wait to try them again until my finger isn’t swollen anymore.

I was just just wondering if anyone else had this happen to them!

I had all 3 rings sizes up a quarter size because of this. It will be slightly snug in the summer months and slightly loose in the winter. I have a small plastic ring guard that I slip inside the bands for the colder months. I was afraid that if I didn’t size them up, then I wouldn’t be able to wear them in the summer.

I did the same thing. I was told by my jeweler that when you put multiple rings on the same finger it tends to fit like a smaller size. So I got mines a quarter size bigger. Haven't worn them in the winter months, but I have sizers just in case

When you add rings you'll get a tighter fit. You might need to up the size of your engagement ring to get everything to fit. Put your hand in ice or run under cold water to help with swelling.
Also try putting them all on together instead of one at a time.

Yeah! It’s so weird lol my engagement ring fit so nice and you’d think the bands would fit great because they’re a little larger in size than the engagement ring, but all together it is so tight!! Oh well, nothing a resize can’t fix!!

So I didn’t end up getting them resized. When my fingers are not swollen they fit me perfect, so I’m going to wait it out and see how it goes! I can always get it resized later if need be
