Wedding Band Trouble

Jordan, on September 29, 2019 at 7:46 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 18

My FH has been procrastinating for weeks to get my wedding band for our November 16 wedding. My band is very specific to my engagement ring. Turns out that the collection is going to be retired and there is not one band that matches my ring in the whole continental U.S. Needless to say I'm very frustrated. The only bands available are the gold and rose gold colors (mine is white gold). My mom thinks the rose gold might complement my engagement ring. I'm not sure what to do at this point.

Girl head to Pandora!! They have beautiful rings in all sorts of colors and designs. Plus they are not expensive at all! What does your engagement ring look like?

I never thought about Pandora! I have an Ever Us with the double diamond.

I will be using Pandora as I love my E-Ring by itself so I want something delicate.

Your ring is so delicate! You definitely don't want anything too big that takes away from that.

This is one of the bands that I like. The band that matches it has since been retired(or just not available). I've found a few that somewhat match but just not sure I want to take away from my engagement ring.

Most jewelers can custom make a ring from a picture.

As Cyndy said, you can get a band custom made. I would go to a jeweler and discus that option with them. But I would do it ASAP to make sure you can get it in time.

Op I agree with the poster who mentioned getting it customized. Also I came to say I will think of you and your fh on your wedding day... because that's my b-day...yay!!!😊. Plus our wedding was the day before Nov. 15, and we are planning our 2 yr anniversary. #November

I loved my mixed metals look! E-ring is white gold and wedding band is rose gold.

Oh no, that is a bit frustrating!! I personally love the look of mixed metals. My e-ring is white gold and my band is rose gold. But, if that's not something you like, I'd suggest going around to jewelry stores and just trying on different options. I'm not sure if there is enough time, but as other pp have mentioned, jewelry stores can also create custom rings!

Here is my "set". It's not the best picture or the best lighting.

Definitely shop around, you may find something you like better. I love the look of mixed metals, but not everyone does. Mine is a very subtle difference. My Ering sterling silver and band is white gold (am allergic to other metals). My fiance is going to have a black & silver tungsten ring.

What does your ring look like? have you tried going to a local jeweler to see what they have?

I have an Ever Us from Kay's so it has a specific curve to it.

Thank you everyone for your input and listening to me vent. I was lucky enough to find wraps that fit my ring from Jared. We are going to go with mixed metal, white gold and rose gold. My FH's ring is black tungsten with a rose gold inlay so they will coordinate as well.

Thanks!!!! I absolutely adore it. I'm obsessed with opals and rubies, even before I met my fiance. I also love heart shaped stones. Well, opal and ruby just happens to be our birthstones!

My wedding band doesn’t match my engagement ring, I love it! I actually didn’t want it to match at all and I’m happy I went for it!
