Wedding Band Gaps?

I'm considering a straight across band. It's unique with small diamonds and a jagged set almost like mountains. My engagement ring is an oval shaped white sapphire. So, if I get this ring there would be a "gap" between the two. Does anyone else have this where their rings don't sit exactly together?

My FH thinks I should just wear the band by itself but I'd like the option to wear them together. Anyone have pics??

My rings have a gap. Personally, I prefer that look over bands that are curved to sit flush with one another.

I actually prefer my rings to have a gap, that way they look like two separate rings!

Mine will have a small gap in the center of the rings. I didn't love the idea of a gap at first, but now I don't mind it. I've just accepted that I have a more unique engagement ring shape and nothing is going to sit perfectly flush with it.
