Okay y'all SO. I went to the jeweler who created my engagement ring yesterday to get it cleaned and look at wedding bands. I showed them what kind of band I'm interested in, which is a contoured band. The jeweler told me that I have a raised center stone, so I can have a straight wedding band(s) rest flush against it. And this was my fiancés intention with my ring as well. While that's nice and all, I've always admired my mother's ring set, which is contoured. I feel like it highlights the center stone, and is just, unique. Anyways, anyone get a contoured wedding band with a raised center stone engagement ring? I’d love to see pictures and hear how you like it?
Side note: regardless what band I pick, I will be soldering my rings together. So I’m not worried about the contoured ring not perfectly lining up with my engagement ring.
I know ultimately in the end it’s my decision. Just need opinions. Pic of my fresh clean ring cause I still love it so so much, and would love to see pairings with similar rings!!
