Wedding Band- bigger or smaller?

I feel like this band overshadows your engagement ring. I personally would go with one that's the same width as your e-ring.

I’d go a smidge thinner, so it’s a bit more complementary of your engagement ring.

It’s very pretty but I would go with something a bit thinner to match your E-ring.

Love it but I would go a bit smaller so it isn’t overpowering — you could even have two thin thins bands !! That’s what I am going to do because we are getting married on my birthday so we decided to get two bands

I have that same problem my band is 11mm wide and my ER is pretty thin so I don’t plan on wearing them together expect on special occasions. But I wanted my wedding band to be similar to FH. This is his and mine.

Like many others have said I would go with something the same width as your engagement ring.


Down the line I plan on getting a third band, a family ring, to place on the other side of the engagement ring. I also like the look of stackable bands.

If that is the one you have your heart set on and like the way it looks- go for it. Ultimately it is YOUR hand that is going to be wearing it.....
Or have that one as the anniversary band? Maybe a if I don’t wear the engagement ring I wear this one & get a small simple band for the wedding band?

My wedding band is a bit thicker than my engagement ring. I initially wanted them to be identical but it’s not as bad as I thought it’d look. They aren’t too far off so it doesn’t look overpowering and it’s thick enough to stand alone without looking super thin and dainty.

Beautiful ring; I would go with one that has the same type of stone and the same size band.

Great discussion, I never thought of wearing my rings apart. I love your rings! If you want to balance them out, get another thin band, or another wider band to match your e ring.
