Wedding band arrived in the mail!

Kimberly, on June 5, 2020 at 3:25 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 23

I was super nervous purchasing a wedding band online to match my engagement ring but it turned out amazing! Did anyone else take the plunge of buying their ring or any other wedding stuff online since the stores were closed for so long?

This is so gorgeous! I would never believe it wasn't a set if I just saw it on your hand without knowing.

Looks like you had nothing to worry about. We still have a bit of time before we have to purchase our rings so we'll wait and see if the store is opened back up within the next few months. We've already picked them out! I did end up buying my dress online though. Not because the stores were closed (some are still open), but because I've went to so many stores and just got frustrated.

I found a few I liked and I knew what I wanted but nothing really met my expectations until I came across a bridal resale site called Stillwhite. I was nervous buying it online but it was the best experience through and through. When I finally received it, I was ecstatic. It was everything I was hoping it would be and more!

Thank you! Fiancé did a good job picking out the ring. 🥰 I just couldn’t figure out the right band. I didn’t really want any more sparkles.

Thank you! I lucked out. It is slightly a brighter shade of rose gold than my engagement ring but I think that’s just because it is so new and I just need to wear it everyday to lessen the color.

Thanks! I scoured the internet and Etsy to find it. Funny enough it was a jeweler in Georgia called Shane and Co that had this band (I’m in Texas). The shop where fiancé got my engagement ring didn’t have a matching band and offered to make a custom option but it’d be more expensive than we budgeted for. I never thought I’d be buying such an important piece sight unseen, but it worked out this time! 😊

That is one of the most beautiful wedding bands I've ever seen! May I ask where you got it?

That’s awesome about your dress and rings! I have a bit of an indecisiveness problem too when I don’t know exactly what I want so I admire you that you knew what you wanted from both bands and the dress. It’s also great to hear about online shopping experiences that turned out well rather than the horror stories we usually hear about.

Definitely an experience. I had a previous online disaster but was able to get a full refund from that, thank God! I had bought a previous dress thinking it was the one. It was beautiful but like a week later, I started coming down with dress regret.

COVID came out of nowhere and it was my scapegoat to get out of getting it (it was already in production). I'm just grateful that I got my dress now and I haven't had a single doubt or regret.

Yes. I found my ring at Kay's online, but couldnt do any in person shopping due to stores being closed. I was torn between 2; a morganite and an aquamarine. I got an email that the aquamarine was on sale and totally within budget. I had no idea how it would look on my hand at the time but I LOVE IT!Wedding band arrived in the mail! 2

Thank you! I got it from a jeweler called Shane and Co. They are a brick and mortar jewelry store in Georgia with a few locations but I found them online since I’m here in Texas. They were really nice over the customer assistance chat box to answer my questions/concerns and also have a 60 day full return (extended to 90 days for covid) if it didn’t work out for me. I definitely recommend checking them out.

Correction, the jewelry store was called Shane Co. (not Shane and co) and here is the link https://www.shaneco.com/

Also I didn’t know it was based in Denver. I just knew it had store locations in Georgia because my aunt told me she got a ring there too years ago.

Wow! Great match! I bought our bands from online before covid. Much easier and less pressure from the jewelry salespeople. Wedding band arrived in the mail! 3
