I'm doing an enhancer for my wedding band too! I think yours is lovely! Like Michelle said, you're the one who will be wearing it forever, so if you love it then that's all that matters. I'm sure your family will forget about the ring entirely by next week as well, so don't let them get you down if this is what you really like.

Definitely stop asking for your family members' opinions. Taste in rings can only ever be highly subjective. So only the ring wearer's opinion matters. If you like it, keep it. If their criticisms are making you re-think your choice, then shop around.

For me, comfort/wearability is of the utmost importance for something I am going to wear every day for the rest of my life and your ring doesn't look comfortable to me. But my opinion is absolutely irrelevant.

I agree with the others, you're the one who has to look at it and wear it, the only opinion which matters is yours! I think it's really pretty!

I tend to get ring dermatitis and so something as wide as this would not be good for me from that perspective, plus I don't think I'd find such a wide setting comfortable, but that's my exact point - I don't have to wear it!

I definitely don't think it looks like a bug. To me, it looks like a shield, a flower or a tiara!

Definitely agree with Rosie - it is absolutely not bug-like, and looks almost like a flower. Very pretty, and it definitely compliments your ring. If it makes you smile when you look at it, then it's perfect. It's 100% only for your enjoyment. And people have very very different opinions - and none of theirs matter.
