With that type of engagement ring, there’s no way to avoid hiding some of the diamonds. You have a lot of band options, though, since it’s a classic design! If you want one with diamonds, your best bet would be finding a band with diamonds set the same way that they are in your engagement ring.

I would get a chevron. I would avoid a band that sits flush because the diamonds on the e ring would abrade the metal of the band

My ring is very similar except it's a halo. My suggestion to you is to go to a jeweler and have them show you some. I found a cathedral band that had the stones on the side that matched my engagement ring.
