Needing help on planning a time line for everything the day of my wedding. I’d love for our reception to be done by 10pm.

Can someone help me write out a timeline???

I would love to help give some timeline guidance but there's a lot of into we need. Some questions include:

    * Is all of the getting-ready happening at the venue, or are you getting ready somewhere else beforehand?

*Is one of the stylists for makeup and the other for hair? If so, how long do they need per person? I was in a wedding of 8 bridesmaids (plus the bride was the ninth person) where there was one makeup artist and one hairstylist. Makeup had to start at 6:30am to be done in time for the pre-ceremony photos -- how early do you need to start? If you add flower girls in addition to the 8 you currently have, it may be a stressful getting-ready timeline.

    * Are you doing a first look?

    * I assume the ceremony and reception are at the same location, is this the case?

    * How long will your ceremony be?

    * Will you have a cocktail hour after the ceremony?

Based on your title, it seems you're wondering whether to start your ceremony at 3pm or 4pm. I recommend 4pm because it gives people more time to get ready and arrive at the venue. If the wedding starts at 3pm, guests will arrive around 2:40 and that's a long day for a dinner reception.
