Wedding arch cost

Tiffany, on October 11, 2017 at 10:29 AM Posted in Style and Décor 3 19

How much should a wedding arch cost? I love the one attached but maybe with fewer flowers. The amount of flowers shown must be expensive

Our florist quoted us about 1500 to 2000 and it is not nearly as complicated as that. Also, not in a pricey area.

@MFB that's a great price for that!! sooo worth it!

@OP at least in my area, we can rent arches for $30-100 for the day. I'm not sure the cost of drapery and florals, but look into renting

You have to remember that many of the pics you see online on wedding blogs are from people who had almost unlimited budgets. Most of us do not live in that world.

You can have a beautiful arch without spending a fortune. It's only supposed to focus attention on the bride and groom, not be the focus of attention.

Instead of thousands of individual flowers, or extravagant arrangements wired on, you can use simple fabric or flowering branches.

I am working with rental places for everything around my wedding, and I noticed arches in the CT area range from $100-$500 for a day rental.

They sell really simple ones one Etsy. I'm a bit of a minimalist and really liked this one copper pipe one. Very simple. Thought about a little draping and some flowers. Maybe $200 for the whole thing

We got quoted around 250 -400 for the flowers for our arch depending on if we did one large set of flowers at the top or two smaller ones along the side.

We got quoted less if we used silk flowers, which was fine with me since no one but us will see them up close.

We didn't pay for the structure itself it was included with our venue package.

That's gorgeous! We're renting a rose gold colored arch for $50 from our florist and she's creating a eucalyptus/rose garland along with draping for $125, so $175 in all. Not nearly as many flowers as yours, however.

We are doing this, which is a toned down version of what you're looking at. This will probably be more affordable.

Long Island bride and we were quoted between 600 to 1000. Luckily a former student of mine, well her mother rather, is a florist so I got spared ridiculous costs haha.

Our venue has this existing arch. It's going to be 500-1000 to cover it in flowers. It is HUGE though...21 ft by 10 ft

When we were originally going to have an outdoor ceremony our florist quoted $500 for something similar.

Has anyone tried making their own arch? I wonder how annoying that would be or if the savings would be worth it!

I made this floral arbour for my son's wedding. (they hired the wooden stand $200 AUD). I have no floristy experience. I watched You Tube and chatted to a florist. I went to the wholesale market, spent $200 AUD and from that made 2 bouquets, 11 bottonholes, 10 mason jars of flowers and the arch. Granted, I did raid the local trees for the gum. If you have someone who loves flowers and has an eye then for sure it can be done. I enjoyed every moment of making it .
