Hey Everyone. My Wedding Isn't Until October And Yet Here I Am having Wedding Dreams Every Night And Panicking! I'm So Nervous That Out Of Our 60 Guests Only Like 10 Will Show Up And We'd Have Wasted All This money And Time And Energy. My Dreams Are My Living Nightmares LOL With No One Showing, Rain, The Wrong Dress. Does Anyone Else Feel like This? Any Tips On How To Not Freak Myself Out?

    Hey there!
I'm 80 days out from my wedding. I'm starting to feel the stress.
My best advice is to take it day by day, task by task so as not to get overwhelmed.
I feel like as long as my groom and the Minster show up, all is goodSmiley smile
Let go of the things beyond your control, like weather and attendance.Focus on the happiness of the day, and the fact that you get to spend forever with your sweetheart.
Those that love you will be there to share your big day!You will be beautiful, rain or shine. It's just the fear of the unknown, that is upsetting you at the moment. Your dreams are your subconscious trying to work it out for you.
Enjoy this time! It goes fast. Congratulations! Hugs to you.

Everything is going to be okay. I had the same dreams leading up to my wedding. I had dreams that no one showed up, it rained, the caterer never showed up, my decorations were messed up and I even had a dream that my husband didn't show up. It's normal. All I would say is don't stress about it. I learned that most of my stress from my wedding planning came from the idea that I felt like I needed to be stressed. Take a deep breath and take some time off of planning if you need to. I frequently took a week off from looking at things for the wedding here and there when I felt too overwhelmed. You've got this! Your wedding day will be perfect and if something doesn't get done that you wanted to have on your day, just remember that no one knows it's supposed to be there except for you. Smiley smile

Mine is in October too and I was having the dreams before. Not so much now and I wonder if it is because now I am in deep with the planning.

Sometimes it takes that. I stepped away for about a month in December because it was getting to much

Wedding nightmares or dreams to me, represent things we are nervous about. If you’re nervous about guests not showing up just remember that whoever is there is who you can have fun celebrating with

Ours is in August and I have been the same way. I’m almost done with planning yet my anxiety has been on overdrive. I’m having nightmares as well, and I’ve picked up reading at night as a stress reliever. I like what PP mentioned about feeling like you should be stressed. I’m not stressed ... yet I am.

Wedding stress is its own unique beast. I started off with nightmares about being late because I had to go back to the craft store because there were no flowers or that I decided to make my own wedding cake the night before the wedding. I've now graduated to just dreaming about the things I need to do. Last week I had a dream I was price shopping eucalyptus online. Just last night I dreamt I was going to the store to pick up things that I was planning on putting together for the wedding party. But I do feel like the closer I get, the more stress is replaced with excitement. Just remember to take it one thing at a time, take time to breathe, and it'll all come together (I say as I make 10 different to-do lists Smiley winking ).
