Wedding anxiety

Janae, on October 12, 2021 at 1:27 PM Posted in Planning 0 8
I am a week n 3 days away from my wedding date. Trying not to freak out but it seems like everything that could go wrong during planning has. I've had to replace 4 vendors during planning for different reasons. Found out the other day Groomsmen don't have suits ready. Also my mother who is walking me down the aisle is still looking for a dress (another thing on my list I have to help with). Amongst other things that have happened. This process has been so stressful and I wish people involved would have made things easier. I just don't see how everything is going to fall in place.

At this point, take everything off of your to-do list that you can. Low hanging fruit like helping your mom shop for a dress can easily go. Then, look at everything left with your partner and ruthlessly decide together what isn't important (any décor that still needs to be made, signs, all of that nice-to-have but not actually important stuff). Divide it up between you and just go down your lists in any spare time you have. You can do this.

You’re at the end. Breathe! Focus only on the big things. You can not do anything about anyone’s attire but your own, and maybe your FH. If they don’t have the appropriate attire that’s on them. Any little thing/detail that’s not taken care of by now, no one is going to notice it’s missing. I promise.
I understand the stress in the days leading up to the big day. I didn’t sleep for like that whole week before. The last 3 days before I got my nails done(and then fixed🤦‍♀️), checked my packing list and packed the car, had my veil pressed, arranged grocery store flowers for accent decor (with help from hubby. The flowers then died I told you i get it, lol).
Your day is going to be great. Try and relax and enjoy the next few days!

Just make sure you have your marriage certificate and your groom - that’s all you really need!

It’s time to bring things inward and focus on your groom and yourself. Be ok with everything not going to exact plan. Your still getting married to the person who you choose to spend the rest of your life with wether things go perfectly well or not, your day will still be perfect if you focus on the most important thing, celebrating your love!

It's just been things back to back. Today one of our groomsmen backed out, (we only had three) as of right now we might only have one. Wedding is next week. We have family members go said they would step in but there suits will not match. So not sure what to do.
