Wedding anxiety regarding Caronavirus 4/18/20 Wedding

Cindy, on March 12, 2020 at 1:41 AM Posted in Planning 0 7
I have 89 confirmed guests coming to my wedding on April 18th 2020. I’m worried that I will get some no-shows do to the caronavirus pandemic. My final guest count and final balance is due the 18th of this month. Do you brides think I should reach out to my guests and reconfirm the RSVP’s? Kind of freaking out here.

I don’t think that would be a bad idea to reconfirm their RSVPS

My wedding is the same day as yours. My fh and I are going to do just that. We are going to contact our family members to make sure they can make it or not. It's very frustrating not knowing what will happen with this virus.

Hi I am also getting married April 18! Our RSVPs our final count sre also due soon and the venue has assured me as of now everything is business as usual. I’m not contacting our entire guest list but our venue is allowing us to add seats the day of so I plan on giving the final count 20-30 less than we anticipate so we don’t lose out on people cancelling. If they show up my venue will just require us to pay that day. Maybe your venue will allow that option? I’m putting a family member in charge of it so on the wedding day any new charges will be handled by them. My seating chart and place cards will be made for all those who RSVPd.

April 18th here too! I definitely don't think it hurts to check in at least with those who will have to travel or might be in the "high risk" groups. I think people will understand you wanting to confirm. As of right now, we are planning on everything going as planned *fingers crossed* since most of our guests are just a couple hours away by car, but are keeping a close eye on everything.

Hi All Date Twins! As of right now everything is going as planned. Most of my family are car rides away so I do not have anyone flying in. I'm trying to remain calm and not overreact.
