How do you choose your accessories? I don't even know where to start?! Thank you!

Stuck here too! My sister was kind enough to give me some little dangling earings... Now I don't know what to match with it.

Will you be doing a veil? I think that comes first because the detail on the veil edging (raw edge, ribbon, lace, pearls, sparkle, etc.) might determine what kind of jewelry you'll want.

Because I'm not generally a fan of necklaces with bridal gowns (the tops are always so pretty the way they are), I knew I only wanted earrings and a fancy comb on top of the veil comb. Because of a pirate reception theme, I knew I wanted gold or bronze but nothing sparkly. Bought everything on Etsy!

Have you looked up Pinterest pics? So many bridal looks! Maybe see what kind of accessories pop out then determine the type of metal: gold, rose gold, silver, etc.

Maybe you can go to a store and try on different things or look window shop/search online to see what you think is cute or would be nice on you. I personally wanted a headband only rather than a veil. And I knew for sure I could not do a necklace because my dress neck is very adorned already. I also would advise looking at your dress or whatever you are wearing and see how the accessories go with it. For instance if you are already in a gown that is very simple then maybe you can do some bolder or accenting pieces or if you like the simple look then go for plainer accessories. Whatever you go with I am sure you will look amazing Smiley smile
Also just another idea but you know that whole tradition of something blue something new something borrowed? I sort of went with that for my accessories. Borrowed some lovely jewelry from some ladies in my life. Or if you have anything sentimental or meaningful then that could work too.

I think just being true to what you like in your everyday life and what you always envisioned for yourself, as well as what goes with your dress/attire, is best! Like, I always wanted flowers in my hair so I have a silk flower hair comb, but I am not a big jewelry wearer so the only other accessory I'm having is a pearl bracelet that my mom is making for me. Pinterest and Etsy are other great sources of inspiration for bridal accessories!

This has consumed the last month of my life. I've bought idk how many jewelry sets (they're currently on ebay for sale now lol) aand purchased hopefully, my real jewelry set today, which should arrive next week.

Looking back, if I had thought about what I wanted most, and gone straight with that, this all would have been done. For me, I wanted rose gold everything, but its not as popular as silver or yellow gold, so I kept trying to settle. My headpiece I made and its rose gold. The jewelry I ordered today, its rose gold. The stones on my garter are trimmed with rose gold. I think I know which veil I'm getting now. My shoes are a sparkly gold, but those were easy to pick out.

Sorry I'm not much help, other than what not to do. Lol

I struggle with this too. My mom came to my first fitting and brought some options. I agree with the previous posters that I may end up not wearing a necklace cuz of my dress’s neckline, which will help my earrings decision.. I’m awful at matching jewelry together if it didn’t come in a set! But wearing the dress while trying on jewelry really helped me.

If you can, bring several options to a fitting so you can see exactly what it’ll look like. That’s my suggestion!

I wasn't going to wear one. Then I tried one on when my dress came in and finally had that "bridal moment." lol. I suggest getting your veil first, then jewelry/accessories.

I am not for now cuz my mom kept asking and asking what type of jewelry I want which tells me she's buying a set of earrings and necklace for me. I am pausing on buying a garter as well in case that comes up at my bridal shower.

This is so hard! Not only the style but colors and matching and uuuggghhh!!!

I have a black ring so most of my accessories will have to be black to match the ring somehow.

That makes sense! It’s hard because I’m not super emotional about stuff like finding the perfect dress or stuff to go with it plus I’m super indecisive 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️😂😂

Lol. That's why it may help to try one step at a time. Veil first.
