Latonya, on October 31, 2019 at 12:47 AM Posted in Planning 0 11
I feel like staying in bed on my wedding day. So stressed and irritable. Weather says 70F and rainy. Ny wedding is Saturday in Florida. Plus I just learned because of an event going on at my venue the day before I have to wake up early and decorate the ceremony area before getting dressed. I am so over this meas. I should have eloped and told noone!

Don't let it get you down! Weather is so unpredictable, you really never know Smiley smile Not to mention, some people believe that rain on your wedding day is actually good luck!

I'm sure it will be a beautiful! I know it's hard not to dwell on what might go wrong. but, they say rain is good luck. And by decorating in the morning you'll know everything is perfect and freshly done. I'm sorry it's not going the way you planned.

The weather in Florida changes by the minute. We live here so I know. Don’t stress yourself about that. Enjoy every moment between now and then because it goes by so quickly. It will all be beautiful.

Rain is good luck for a wedding day! Plus with it being 70, you won't be all hot and sweaty after decorating! It'll be a great day!! Smiley smile

Where in Florida? Most of the time rain is pretty quick and lets up after a few minutes.

We had to decorate our venue the morning of and had plenty of time! our wedding party and family showed up early to help as well. As far as the weather is concerned, the weather changed our wedding too. While planning a wedding i’ve learned to try and not let the uncontrollable upset me too much. We can’t control the weather ya know? Take a breath and come up with a game plan you’re comfortable with! i’m so sorry, this stuff is never easy to deal with!

I totally feel your heartache, girl. Perhaps you're feeling a little overwhelmed today so this news feels extra daunting. But everyone else is right - rain is supposed to be good luck! And 70 isn't that cold. Honestly, if it were any warmer people might be sweating and really not enjoying themselves. You should take some time to treat yo'self today. Treat Yo'Self Day was actually October 13, but if we we pretend we misread it as 31, then today's the right day. Smiley love

On the day-of, the weather won't even matter to you. And you'll probably have trouble sleeping and be so rip-roaring and ready to go that you'll be up early anyway - might as well go decorate, right?! Make a fun event out of it - invite your bridesmaids. Have mimosas and donuts or something light, queue up the music, and jam while you decorate. It's a great way to make lemonade out of lemons. You've got this!

Weather is wrong all the time. All week before my wedding it was predicting rain. Even the night before it said predicting rain. I woke up to a gorgeous, mid-70s, partly cloudy morning, and it stayed that way the ENTIRE day until it rained in the evening after the wedding was over 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

At this point, like it or not, you’re having a wedding! So try not to focus on what you should have done and just try to enjoy what’s happening! It’ll be over soon.
