Wearing Wedding Heels Prior to Wedding

Marilyn, on August 12, 2019 at 2:09 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 10
This is a silly question but I bought those heels pictured. The picture doesn’t do it justice because the sparkle is so pretty in person. Anyways, planning on wearing these for my engagement party coming up..and even thinking about wearing these on my wedding day! I’m being super practical about my wedding day and hey, if I love these heels & they’re comfy, why not!

My only question is...you know how after you wear heels, it starts to have an imprint of your toes on the front part..i would hate for that ugly detail to show up in the wedding photos (of shoes, dress, rings, etc)..what did you ladies do to prevent this or am i just crazy for even caring about this :-P

I'm sure you could add a small cushion their specifically made for shoes to help with the imprint? I'm not sure what they are called, but I've seen them at any store that sells shoes, and I believe they're only around $5-10.

Do you plan on taking photos of the shoes not on your foot? I don't think I have ever seen that. But if you do you can get cushions, ask the photographer to take it from a different angle, or put something on it like a flower.

I hadn’t thought about that, but I know what you mean. I agree with Kelly that maybe you can cover it with flowers in pictures. I’m sure your photographer will be able to compose an accessories photo that will look great and either mask or photoshop any imperfections. I have a couple of the cushion things for heels, but they mainly are just under the ball of your foot, idk if it would prevent you from getting indents where your toes sit.

Personally I wouldn't worry about it, I don't think anyone will notice or care. I am wearing the same shoes on my wedding day that I wore to my bridal shower and I am taking those suckers on my honeymoon too! Get your money's worth lol

I'm going to rely on the photographer to use their photoshop skills to make them look as good as new in the pictures if we do end up doing the close up shots of rings/dress/shoes/etc. Thanks ladies!

I actually bought my shoes from another bride so they were already worn. They were slightly too big for me so I purchased inserts called "foot petals" to put inside them. They have really cute shapes including hearts.

Hey Marilyn! Have you come to a conclusion to stop this from happening?
