Wearing Mother’s Wedding Dress?

Hi Kris! This is definitely something I've thought about doing! My mom kept her wedding dress just in case my sister or me want to use it! I'm not sure if I would wear the exact dress but I would love to use some of the material! Are you thinking about doing this? Re-using Mom's dress

I’m so upset my mom doesn’t have her dress or even veil!! I think it is such a neat idea.

I used a piece of my mom’s dress in mine - my mom was super teeny when her and my dad got married and there was no way I was fitting into it and it wasn’t the style I wanted. I cut a heart out of her material and had it sewn in above my heart. The alterations were pretty easy but EXPENSIVE so just be aware that it may cost you more!

I wore my mons dress 40 yrs ago and i have a piece of it going into my bouquet. Both my parents are deceased. I am taking the setying of her comb from her veil and wearing in my hair
