Wearing engagement/wedding ring

I also wanted to add I do wear it every time I leave the house. I also wear it if we have friends or family come over...

I wear mine all the time except if I’m showering or cooking something with my hands (meatballs, mixing dough etc.), running(although sometimes i do just wear the band) or painting.
I also take my e-ring off to sleep because my finger swells too much, but my wedding band is fine so that stays on.

I actually very rarely wear my engagement ring. I'll wear it when we go out on a date night or somewhere, but otherwise I don't wear it to work or around the house or running errands, etc.

When I was engaged, I wore my engagement ring whenever I left the house and would really only take it off to sleep, shower, and work out. Now that I'm married, I wear my wedding band all the time except for showeing and working out, but I wear my engagement ring far less often. At work I sometimes have to put on gloves, and the engagement ring would RIP them.

I take them off at home. It’s too big to do chores. One day I almost lost the bigger diamond because the claw got tangled on a towel when I was cleaning. Luckily I saw it. It’s a diamond from my grandma, I can’t replace that.

I don’t wear my engagement ring at all anymore after I got married

When I first got engaged, I wore my engagement ring most the time (sans the usual: showering, washing my hands, cleaning, sleeping). Once the pandemic hit though, I was washing my hands all the time and got sick of removing it and putting it back on all day at work. Plus, I was worried I would take it off and leave it in the bathroom or drop it down the drain. So eventually I just removed it permanently. I haven’t worn it since April. Can’t wait for this pandemic to be over so I can start wearing it regularly again!

My rings are soldered so I only wear them together. They’re pretty much never on at home. I was taking them off to clean with harsh chemicals, cook with my hands, shower, sleep, etc. so it just got easier to take them off when I was at home. My wife is the only one who really sees me at home and I’m pretty sure she knows I’m married so...

I wear my engagement ring all the time and when the band is added I will wear both. I try to take off my rings when going to the gym and swap them for the athletic bands. I am only not wearing my engagement ring for the next few weeks up until the wedding because I am a type A planner and since I am cleaning the house today I decided to start packing up for the big day so everything is in order and I am cleaning the ring with the band and them putting them together because I have a huge fear I would lose them ha ha.

I love my engagement ring, but I only wear it if I'm going out to a family gathering, out to dinner, on a date with my fiancé or to an event. I don't wear it to work, to run errands or things like that.

I wear mine all the time except in the shower. If I took it off more than that honestly I'd probably forget to put it back on lol.

I do not sleep with mine, as my engagement ring is vaguely pointy and I'd totally poke myself in the eye with it.

I put them on when I get up in the morning, even when I'm not leaving the house, because I feel weird without *some* jewelry on.

But I take them off when I'm doing dishes, showering, or other activities that might damage them/hurt me if they catch on something.

I can't sleep with any jewelry on, and would always take my rings (and all jewelry) off when I get home! I also don't wear my rings when showering, cooking, cleaning, swimming, or working out.

With all the hunkering down this year my rings have definitely spent more time in my ring dish than on my finger! 😄

I don’t wear mine most of the time because I work in the hospital. I don’t want anything gross getting on my ring. I only wear mine when I’m going out or on special occasions. Due to my clumsy self, I bought myself n Enzo ring.

I always take mine off when I get home, sometimes I forget to put it on when I go out lol. The other day I was wearing a future wifey shirt and the cashier asked if I was getting married and I noticed her confusingly glancing at my finger hahah.

When I first got engaged I never took my ring off. After about a year I quit wearing it when doing many things. Because mine sits up high and I kept bumping it I was worried I might damage it so when at home I never wear it.
