Was your wedding day the WORST day of your life?

My wedding day was ruined when my dress got soaked after the hotel room sprinklers went off. The bridesmaids dresses were ruined.

This thread is a GINX.. sorry..I need all the luck I can get right now..on to the next.

A coworker of mine told me to expect at least one thing to go wrong so that is what I'm doing. I'm trying to be prepared for that. I just really hope it's not the music because a wedding with no dancing is my biggest fear.

My biggest fear is me tripping down the aisle or me stuttering through my vows...

where is north pole, arkansas? im so curious. it also seems a bit odd that you have just created this account to ask this question... considering your own wedding date was almost 10 years ago. just curious the real reason you are asking for these "stories"?

i also find it curious that "laura" above is brand new also -- this is her very first post, and responded that her wedding was ruined by sprinklers, even though her wedding date hasnt happened yet.

Omg it’s like my wedding... dj was horrible, wrong song for my entrance, I gave him a playlist and he didn’t play one single song. I hired a guy to sing frank Sinatra and also gave the Kong’s I wanted... he sang everything else. Something about the lady is a tramp? My husband’s suit never arrived, my cake was damaged badly, my dress was big on me all tho I had told the tailor that it was loose, I had no underwear, the hotel didn’t let the photographer come in my room to take pictures, I didn’t have time to do my nails, my hair and makeup was horrible, the decoration was not as I had planned with the wedding planers, the tablecloths I ordered came the day of the wedding when everyone was already sitting, I didn’t even get to see the desserts buffet because it empty by the time I went to get something for me, omg I don’t even wanna go on. I’m having trouble letting this go it’s been a month now I am so depressed. And now, my husband HAS to go to the military so no honeymoon... I honestly can’t regret existing right now.

Songs, not Kong’s anyway... the worst thing is that everything that went bad had it’s ow drama.... I had family drama from my husbands side from everywhere. His dad didn’t come because “if he came” he had to invite others and my hubby didn’t want them so HE dad, didn’t come. The mother said she wasn’t coming either be she doesn’t drink and she was against being in a room with alcohol. The sister made us cancel our ceremony because she felt insulted because of her religion. This lady who my husband used to love as a mother (not anymore after all the drama she put us through) was an absolute monstrosity. From threatening me to crying about us not doing what she wanted. In between all this, I ended up hospitalized for 5 days from stress (my nerves got swollen so I needed an IV) there was a tragic family accident 2 days after I left the hospital and this woman is crying because we didn’t take her to do what she wanted?? Omg! We had family from everywhere to take care of, and we did the best we could. 😩 I think I will be miserable for years to come... I just hope my pictures are good... still haven’t received anything.
