Hi everyone!

So this will be my 2nd marriage and my FH's first. My first marriage was at a courthouse so there was no walk down an aisle and no giving away. We originally planned awhile back for a destination elopement but that changed and it will be a full wedding event. Anyway, since I've already been married before, I'm not sure if it really means anything anymore for someone to walk me down and give me away because that ship has sailed. My question is: could or should I still have someone walk me down the aisle or should I just do it alone? Has anyone else walked or plan on walking down the aisle alone? What should I do? Any advice/guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

This will be my 3rd marriage his 4th our parents are still with us...neither of us had ceremony in our previous marriages... As it has been my dream l will have my dad walk me down the isle, if he doesn't agree l have a brother and three sons... It's all about what you want, it's your special day...unless you are bound by any traditional ritual, etc.

Yea, I'm not bound to anything. I was just wondering whether it was still ok cause I wasn't sure if there was any kind of etiquette. I would love for someone to still walk me down. Someone else commented that they will be walking down with their FH which I think it pretty cool and totally different. I've never heard of that before. Another option to explore!
