Waiting for a venue hold....

So we looked at our #1 venue (Mendenhall Inn) this morning and they have 5/25/13 on hold but have not heard from the other bride yet. We LOVED it and we can do ceremony and reception all within our budget, plus our dj is available that day. We have to wait until they hear back from her, they give them a 24 hour courtesy to confirm. FINGERS CROSSED, this will solve all my frustrations with the whole venue finding process, please please please let us be able to book!!!!!

We went through similar issues finding a vemue..but with a date change we got the perfect place...but we didn't have to wait..they don't do a hold..1st one to pay deposit and sign contract gets it...we got lucky. Good luck

I kind of wish they would let me book it now! I emailed them last night asking them to call me when they hear back from the girl. I kind of don't want to be annoying and call today haha. But maybe I will... I am going to a wedding show now at the Sheraton University City, hoping to win a honeymoon! haha

**fingers crossed**..i hope it all work out for you...i was blessed to get my venue to do the ceremony and reception all together because it can be nerve wrecking to try and find something all in one...
