Vistaprint paper stock options...what to choose?

csquid, on February 11, 2014 at 11:24 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 5

Ok so I'm having my invites reprinted because I made a lot of changes.

My question is...what paper stock should I choose? I can pick from any of them for no extra charge. The last ones I ordered were Premium, 100 lb. White Matte Stock and I wasn't impressed with them. Can anyone give me input?

Options are:

-Recycled Matte

Show everyone you’re mindful of the environment with 100% recycled premium white paper.

-Linen Finish

The subtle, pressed texture will add an elegant touch to your cards.

-Premium, 100lb. White Matte Stock

This stock features high opacity, allowing for effective two-sided printing.

-Premium Glossy - Our heaviest, high-gloss stock

I used linen for our invites and accommodation cards and the recycled stock (which I found to thicker than the regular stock) for our RSVPS because it was easier to write on than the linen.

I am over a year away on my wedding so I haven't done any invites yet and not sure of the differences, but if you have time, you can get a free sample kit from Vista Print to see some different types of card stock finishes, etc. I just ordered mine a few days ago Smiley smile

Thanks but I have to order them today. It's the last day for 50% off. Good idea if you have the time to wait though!
