Depends on what you are looking for. We wanted water so we looked around the finger lakes. Tons of options but ultimately ended up at Belhurst castle

Budget friendly, outdoor and indoor area, and BYO food/drinks! We’re willing to go outside of NYC more to countryside and or upstate.
